Getting back on track after the weekend
Does this picture sum up your weekend? Don't let it kill your routine, no matter how horrible you wake up feeling. Start with a high protein breakfast, such as oatmeal and fruit, about an hour before your workout. A cup of coffee could also help wake up your body and boost your metabolism. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water before, during and after your workout. Don't do a workout that's too high-intensity, such as intervals. It doesn't allow enough rest for your body to rebuild itself. Try some simple cardio, such a nice paced treadmill workout to start out the week right.
